I used to spend summers with the lolas. I always looked forward to it, it was always a lot og fun. I had never tasted Kare-Kare before and I saw Lola Gaying cleaning the ingredients (it didn't look very apetizing, the tripe to be exact) but as a little kid I didnt know better. I just know it had peanut butter and anything with peanut butter is good! Needless to say, it was the best Kare-Kare i've ever had and since then it became my favorite.. nobody quite makes it as good as she did though....
